Operion is a Zoho partner and sets up Zoho Books for SMEs that want to keep their accounts inside Zoho. We say upfront that Zoho Books has no Dutch edition, and when another package fits better.
What it does
Zoho Books is an online accounting package. You create sales invoices, process purchase invoices, import or connect bank transactions and keep track of balances and reports.
Its strength is how it works with the other Zoho apps: a won deal in Zoho CRM becomes an invoice, and hours from Zoho Projects can be invoiced.
Who it is for
It suits SME service providers that already work with Zoho and want invoicing and accounts in the same environment, with straightforward accounting requirements.
Zoho Books does not come in a Dutch edition. In the intake, check whether VAT returns, the chart of accounts and the bank connections work the way your administration needs them, and involve your accountant.
Set-up
These are the choices we make with you during the intake:
Which chart of accounts you use, how VAT codes are set up and whether that matches what your accountant needs.
Whether a connection is available for your bank, and if not, how you import bank transactions.
Invoice layout, numbering, payment terms and reminders.
How you take over open items and balances from your current administration.
Who may create invoices, who approves purchase invoices and what your accountant may see.
Connections
The most requested connection is the one with Zoho CRM, so customer data and closed deals are not re-keyed. With Zoho Projects, logged hours can end up on an invoice.
If you hold stock, Zoho Inventory is the logical addition. If you have other systems, such as a webshop or a warehouse, we look in the intake at which connection is needed.
More about connections with your ERP, WMS and webshop is on integration.

If you have a Dutch administration with VAT returns, bank connections and an accountant who works in a Dutch package, Uniconta usually fits better. Uniconta is an ERP that we also implement, with standard connections for bank and the Dutch tax authority, among others.
Zoho then remains very usable for sales and collaboration, connected to the ERP.
Licences
The licences and current prices of Zoho Books are on the Zoho pricing page. During the intake we decide which plan fits you.
